Published On: July 21, 2021
Join FTA on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at a webinar to learn more about the $16.23 million FY2021 competitive funding opportunity for projects that help lift communities out of poverty while supporting equity and addressing the challenges of climate change. The two-hour webinar starting at 2 p.m. EDT will provide an overview of the Areas of Persistent Poverty Program (AoPP) and details about how to apply.
The AoPP program supports planning, engineering, and technical studies, or financial planning to improve transit services in areas experiencing long-term economic distress. To determine if your area qualifies, review the list of counties and census tracts listed in USDOT’s RAISE Persistent Poverty Project Status Tool.
Join FTA staff to learn more about the funding, application eligibility and criteria, and the submission process. The webinar will include an opportunity to ask questions. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the AoPP program and how to apply before the application deadline of August 30, 2021.
