New issue of FTA’s Transit Safety and Oversight Spotlight newsletter available

The August 2020 issue of the Transit Safety and Oversight Spotlight newsletter is now available.

This issue provides important updates on FTA’s COVID-19 Recovery Listening Sessions and newly available COVID-19 guidance and resources for the transit industry. Preview sessions for the 2020 Joint State Safety Oversight (SSO) and Rail Transit Agency (RTA) Virtual Workshop, read a feature article on certifying compliance with the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan regulation and register for upcoming safety training, webinars and workshops. Additional content includes research on using buses as mobile generators and updates on FTA’s OTrak Modernization Project.
