Building Bridges to Develop the Pipeline: Transportation and Workforce Webinar

On Wednesday February 8, U.S. DOT will co-host a webinar with the Department of Labor and Midwest Urban Strategies (MUS) on workforce partnerships. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 17 million infrastructure workers will retire over the next 10 years. How are we preparing to fill the bench? This webinar aims to bring together workforce and public transportation professionals to discuss how the industry can build bridges to develop workforce pipeline for the future.

MUS is an intermediary of urban workforce development boards serving their local communities to connect the workforce ecosystem. This system includes employers, job seekers, training providers, and community partners all working together to better prepare job seekers and support employers in the attraction and retention of talent.
