RTAP is developing a plan to help your agency meet the new ELDT requirements. We need to know what kind of help you need.

Do you have an on-staff trainer or someone on your team who is responsible for training?
Does your trainer currently hold a CDL equal to or higher than the CDL/endorsement your new drivers need?
Does your trainer have at least 2 years' experience driving a commercial motor vehicle requiring a CDL of the same class that your drivers need?
Does your trainer have at least 2 years' experience as a behind-the-wheel commercial motor vehicle instructor?
Are you planning to register your agency in FMCSA's Training Provider Registry and train your own drivers?
How often do you need to assist a new driver in receiving their CDL?
How often do you assist a new driver in receiving their commerical learner's permit?
What assistance do you need from RTAP related to ELDT?
