Active Front Line Supervisor Training (ONLINE)

Once you register, you will receive an email from someone at Minnesota RTAP with registration instructions for the online course within 3 business days. Please note that the instructions are not sent immediately upon registration; getting you set up with instructions can take up to 3 business days. This course is self-paced and open year-round for drivers. Once you complete the course, a certificate will be added to your training profile on mnrtap.us.

Description: The front-line supervisor has a pivotal role in the transit organization. They are accountable for most of the day-to-day success of its operations. Many supervisors are promoted from within the ranks of the operating staff and must learn to effectively supervise their peers. In their supervisory role, these individuals must also understand the overall activities and mission of the transit organization, and they must be able to convey its practices, principles, and priorities to the operating staff.
