FTA’s COVID-19 Recovery Listening Session Series

Submit your questions for the panelists during the registration process by Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 7:00 PM CDT.
Through the end of the year, FTA will host a series of listening sessions for the transit community to facilitate peer-to-peer exchange of ideas and practices during recovery from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency. Each session will feature a panel of transit industry professionals describing practices used by their agencies and answering questions submitted by participants. FTA will host the following six sessions:
- Friday, July 31, 2020, from 1:45-2:45 PM CDT: Supporting the Health, Safety, and Confidence of Transit Riders. View the presentation and recording here.
- August 20, 2020: Maintaining Healthy Operations and Keeping Transit Workers Safe — View the presentation and recording here
- September 24, 2020 at 1:30pm CT: Managing Vehicles and Facilities in a New Service Environment
- October 2020: Innovations in Restoring Passenger Confidence and Managing COVID-19 Operational Considerations — date TBD
- November 2020: Value-Added Services for Public Transportation as Communities Recover — date TBD
- December 2020: Understanding and Addressing Changing Rider Needs — date TBD
Dates for the September–December sessions will be announced soon. All sessions will be recorded and posted to FTA’s website. FTA will send email notifications for registration in advance of each session.
