HOTEL ROOM BLOCK EXTENDED TO OCT 3: FTA Joint State Safety Oversight and Rail Transit Agency Workshop Registration Continues Until October 14

The last day to reserve a hotel room as part of the FTA Joint State Safety Oversight (SSO) and Rail Transit Agency (RTA) workshop hotel block at a discounted government rate has been extended to Monday, October 3. FTA encourages in-person attendees to register by October 3 and take advantage of the room block discount at the workshop hotel.

If you haven’t already, please register for the FTA Joint State Safety Oversight (SSO) and Rail Transit Agency (RTA) Workshop! Registration closes on Friday, October 14 at 5:00pm EST. The SSO and RTA Workshop will be held from, October 25- 27, 2022. This year, the workshop will be hybrid at the Westin Washington, DC City Center, offering both an in-person and virtual option.

The workshop brings SSO staff and RTA safety officers together to participate in FTA-led sessions on rail transit system safety, oversight responsibilities, Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan technical assistance and other FTA safety policy updates.
